Once a course has been developed for online delivery, it is never really done. Like any course, faculty will want, and need, to constantly update the materials to keep them fresh and current. Changes might also need to be made to course activities and materials as an instructor figures out what works, and what doesn't, while teaching the course. The instructor might also want to make course changes overtime to keep the course interesting to teach semester after semester!
We previously discussed using student evaluations as a way to gather feedback on a course that can suggest improvements. In addition to those valuable tools, you might also consider participating in a faculty peer review of your course or even a mentoring program. There are also resources like this course that are available to help faculty continuously improve. We will consider these next.
