In EMS... Open Educational Resources
The College of Earth and Mineral Sciences at Penn State makes the majority of its online courseware openly accessible to the Internet community. The resources are freely available for non-commercial use under a Creative Commons license.
At Penn State... iStudy
The iStudy for Success! modules provide an introduction to college-level learning, focusing on areas in which first-year students often need to build skills, such as study methods, time management, and communication. The modules help students prepare for the work that lies ahead of them, both academically and on the job. Each module is designed so that it can stand alone or be used in combination with other modules and materials. An instructor can incorporate as many or as few modules as desired into an ANGEL course and sequence them in any order.
